I really got into surfing when I moved to Aberystwyth for university when I was 18. Since then I have competed in various competitions as well as doing my ISA coaches qualifications and being involved with the University club. I am a big fan of dawnies before work, walking down The Trap and paddling out in the dark, surfing as the sun rises with a friend or two. I used to only ride shortboards but over the last year I have tried to become a more well-rounded surfer; working on my longboarding and SUP surfing. Since picking up Sponsorship from SBS I have been able to push my surfing further and faster than I thought I could. Mid wales isn’t known for its pumping surf but the boards I ride really
