We’ve all been there paddling out in some sketch or big condition and the set comes we are in the spot paddling with your heart in your mouth and boom we taking off everything seems like it was meant to be and boom we catch a rail or to late or too earlier wipe out and have a good thrashing underwater. most surfers can tell you about the washing machine or be rag dolled about under water but for most this would be maxed 10-15 seconds. Our Team Rider Jack Atlantic is back at it again with another Vlog about what he’s been up to surfing in the UK winter.

From its first videos in 2016 kelly has played willy wonker and his wave pool factory almost showing people the incredible wonderland know as the ranch. Its pretty much the dream of every surfer on the planet to push a button and have perfect waves all to yourself. just it took the best competitive surfer of all time to make it happen. once you have seen those endless perfect barrel sections there is no going back those perfect almost memorising barrel shapes has been the dream of pretty much any surfer and still is to ride that wave.   since it was made only a hand full of people have been able to surf it obviously kelly and his mates as well as a few other pros that showed us the future of surfing. but what about for us mear mortals what would it feel like if we were to surf the wave??? Well, this is exactly what a couple of average goes get the ride of a lifetime and the barrels of their life surfing Kelly’s magical wave. I can only hope someone buys on in the south coast of England

Top 10 Swiss Ball Surf Exercises To Improve Fitness

These are our top 10 surf exercise to really work the core and core rotation to help improve you turning on a surfboard.

Your core is hugely important when it comes to surfing and making sure the abs aren’t just for show and can really walk the walk is a must. These exercises are designed to really ramp up your core rotation as well as your physical strength and balance.

Yeah, maybe you’ll get some abs, with core training, but that’s not what you should focus on. What you should focus on are spinal stability and pelvic control, and then progress into high-speed rotational work, which is much more functional. The ripped abs will come with that. Too often I see guys hopping right into high speed or power dynamic core training.

The foundation of good surfing is a good core how good your spinal stability is combined with other attributes with power strength and flexibility will determine your surfing ability especial in recover from big manoeuvres and massive hacks and turns.

Before this work out try a few stretches to really get the body loose and warm before you try some of the more advanced stuff. if you go straight Into it you might hurt your self. Take a look at our previous video of how to warm up and stretch for surfing
